XinYi Notes stores notes, imported files, recordings and transcripts on your iPad. When iCloud is enabled for this app in system Settings and available, notebook content synchronizes automatically to your private Apple CloudKit database. Manage this access in system Settings.

Automatic transcription after recording is on by default and can be disabled in recording settings. You can also request transcription manually. System Speech authorization is required before recognition. Apple Speech may process audio on Apple servers depending on device, language and availability. Local diagnostics remain on the device.

This version has no new account registration, sign-in, learning assistant, advertising or in-app purchases. Earlier test builds may have stored account and learning-service data on developer-managed Cloudflare and Open Notebook services. Updating the app does not delete that historical data. Privacy & Diagnostics → Previous account data lets an existing valid session request its removal; failures are reported. This does not erase local or private iCloud notes. If the old session has expired or deletion fails, contact shunlu2005@gmail.com. Do not send your Apple password.

Local files use iOS data protection. Local content remains until deleted; private iCloud retention and deletion follow Apple synchronization and your iCloud settings. Historical account data remains until deletion is completed, except records required by law. We do not sell personal information or use notes for advertising profiles.
